Recognising

all hair & beauty professionals

Presented by The Lions Barber Collective

The professional hair and beauty industry has some of the most caring and compassionate individuals whose efforts go way beyond the call of duty.

The Collective Pride Awards are designed to recognise unsung heroes in the professional hair, beauty and barbering arena, acknowledge teams or individuals who have helped and supported people struggling with mental health or emotional wellbeing. Collective Pride heroes are those who not only deliver exceptional hair and beauty services day in, day out – but go the extra mile to help others in a time of need, genuinely making a difference to someone’s life.

The Awards

There are eight award categories, designed to salute individuals and teams who have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Every nomination will be given equal consideration by a respected board of specialist judges. The most deserving recipient in each category is then invited to attend the Collective Pride Awards night, being held in London’s prestigious and historic Barber-Surgeons’ Hall on 17th January 2022.

Beyond Business Award

Awarded to the hair salon, barbershop, nail spa or beauty salon where effort goes beyond business expectation, which does way more than competitors and is at the hub of the community.

More Than… Award

Our industry is filled with heroic, creative and sensitive souls who, day after day, give outstanding service, make people look great and feel even better and provide a hub within the community – let alone fuel the economy.

Against the Odds Award
(Nominated)

Do you know a star in the making, a young person in the early stages of their job and determined to make a success of their career, albeit against the odds?

My Saviour Award
(Nominated)

External third parties (i.e. a client or a colleague) who regard this person as their true saviour nominate candidates for this award.

Special Recognition Awards

Special Recognition Awards are presented to exceptional individuals demonstrating outstanding support to the charity. These awards cannot be entered; recipients are identified by the Lions Barber Collective committee and board of trustees.

Lifetime Achievement

The Lifetime Achievement will go to an individual who has continuously delivered unparalleled support for the Lions Barber Collective. Someone who stands out for their exceptional patronage of the charity, an individual who in the past 12 months has relentlessly gone above and beyond to help and support others.

Chosen by the Lions Barber Collective committee, this honour will be given to a remarkable tutor who has worked with care and compassion throughout the year.
